Mas Martinet
Mas Martinet is one of Priorats best wineries
The winery was founded in 1989 by Jose Luís Pérez Ovejero. Today his daughter Sara Pérez is the enologist. They work with ecological agricultural methods.
José Luis Pérez is also an associate of another proyect: Cims de Porrera (Vall-Llach Mas Martinet), together with the cooperative of Porrera and the singer Lluís Llach.

Grape variety:Garnatxa, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cariñena.
Soil: As for most soils in Priorat the Mas Martinet soils are por and consist of volcanic stone, mostly slate (
licorella).
Climate: temperate and dry with mediterranean influences
