These two team building activities are challenges that let your team discover the techniques of Gaudí, Picasso and Dalí and create masterpieces as the Spanish artists did.
Picasso & Dalí challenge
Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí are some of the most recognized and well-known artists in Spain. Their paintings were unique and unrepeatable…or not?
We propose you an original “art challenge”, where your team will have to become artists! This activity will bring your team together through art and co-operation, reproducing one of the most famous Picasso or Dalí’s paintings into a BIG one!
How does it work?
First, we have to choose a painting from Picasso or Dalí: our challenge will be to paint the same picture, but bigger! Then, we divide your team into different groups. Each group will paint one part of the main picture, working together and cooperating with the other groups in order to reproduce the whole picture. Once all the parts of the painting are finished, we put them together to check if it “looks like” the original.

Gaudí’s trencadís challenge
The “trencadís” is a revolutionary technique used and invented by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí during the Catalan modernism. It consists in using broken pieces of ceramic and putting them together into a mosaic.
This activity will let your team discover the “trencadís” technique and create a masterpiece, as Gaudí did!
How does it work?
Your team will be introduced to this mosaic technique before starting to create a masterpiece. We will divide the team into small groups or work as a unique team (it depends on the number of participants). All the participants will share the experience of working together on a mosaic piece and creating decoration objects or the company’s logo…
This activity can be combined with a guided visit to the Bellesguard Tower or Colonia Guell.
