Bodegas Torres

Our visit starts at the hotel where a private bus and a guide will pick you up. We soon reach Bodegas Torres - one of the reknowned wineries in Spain.

Torres was founded in 1870 by Miguel Torres and now - 5 generations later - the winery has not stopped growing. The Torres wine Estate had their breakthrough when they won a wine competition in 1979 against the best French wines. Today, Torres' wineries can be found all over the world. Not only does Torres have wineries in the best wine regions of Spain, besides Penedes in Priorat, Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Rueda, etc. but they also wine houses in California and in Chile. Torres' base however, is to be found in Pacs del Penedès, a short drive north of Vilafrance del Penedès, the regions capital.

In Torres you will have an excellent tour where you will see both the vineyards and the cellars . The visit end in the tasting room, where you will try 3 of Torres' best wines.

Gourmet lunch at a local restaurant in Penedès

After the winery visit to Torres, we can arrange a lunch for the group right in the heart of the Penedès at a superb restaurant that has beautiful views over the vineyards and the valley. Ejnoy local dishes paired with quality wines from the Penedès region.

Second Winery visit - Parès Baltà

After a nice lunch, we go to the renowned Parés Baltà winery. Parés Baltà produce some of the best wines in Penedès. In the well known Spanish wine guide Peñín and the international Peter Parker Wine Spectator, several of their wines get into the exclusive club of the +90 points. The visit to the winery both includes a visit the the production, to the vineyard and of course a taste of several of the winery's wines, like Hisende Miret, Indigena and Indígena Blanc.
