Barcelona offers a great number of sights and various UNESCO World Heritage´s Monuments. This incentive trip combines a stay in Barcelona, with a sailing tour on the Mediterranean Sea, the Wine Regions of Penedès and Priorat and Roman Tarragona
A private mini bus will pick you up at the airport and take you to the Hotel Mimosa, an excellent 4* hotel with a centric location close to Passeig de Gràcia and La Pedrera. Take advantage of the day visiting Barcelona's most characteristic sights on a private Highlights Tour. Admire Antoni Gaudí's unfinished church la Sagrada Familia, the Montjuic Hill and its castle with views of the city and the Barceloneta Quarter with its narrow streets and sea views. The tour can be combined with the Gothic Quarter, one of the best preserved medieval areas in Europe.
End the day with a delicious dinner in one of the best restaurants of the city, for example Can Majo located next to the sea with excellent fish specialties, and delicous meat dishes, or let us book a table at the Michelin restaurant Enoteca in the fashionable Hotel Arts.
Start the second day exploring the beautiful surroundings of Barcelona. We will visit the mythical mountain of Montserrat, where you will have the chance to visit the monastery and enjoy breath-taking views of the round rocks and explore the beautiful natural surroundings. Later on you will be having a great lunch in a spectacular restaurant located in a natural setting near the wine area of Penedes, with high quality cuisine, natural light and striking views from all sides of the restaurant.
During the afternoon we would continue this adventurous day with a visit to one of Penedes Cava Producers in order to taste the local wine with the denomination of origin Penedes, enjoy the landscapes and this natural area. After a short ride with our private bus, you will be transported to one of the best hotels of the area Hotel Terra Dominicata located in the middle of the natural Park of the Serra de Montsant equipped with everything that you could ask for.
The main destination for the third day of your trip is one of the most famous wine regions of Spain, Priorat where you will be comfortably transported with our mini bus right from your hotel. The day will be mostly spent in visiting some of the best wineries of the area whose wines have been recognised internationally, are listed between the best wine guides but also awarded with Robert Parker points. During the visits we will have the chance to try this excellent wines of Ferrer Bobet and Clos Figueres Wineries, visit their cellars and learn about their ways of production.
At the winery of Clos Figueras you will enjoy an unforgettable meal as the restaurant of the winery is specialised in local, ecologically farmed products of the highest quality. In the afternoon you will be free to relax within the natural landscapes of Priorat and of course you will be able to rest and spend the night surrounded by the greenest scenery of the Hotel Terra Dominicata, the natural Park of the Serra de Montsant.
You will start the day going from the mountains of Priorat to the seaside in Tarragona with our private minibus. . Tarragona is one of the most intereseting cities to visit outside Barcelona. Start the visit with a private guided tour with a kwowledgeable English-speaking guide who will tell you about the Roman city of Tarragona (Tarraco) - one of the most prosperous cities in the Roman Empire. Visit the Roman Aqueduct, the Roman Walls as well as the amphitheatre located next to the sea.
Enjoy a lucnh in one of Tarragonas best restaurants with local wines from Priorat. After lunch, our private minibus will transport you to the airport of Barcelona for your departure.
